How to Hat Online
Online Event Calendar

One of the most useful features of the Red Hat Society website is the Online Event Calendar. It’s an excellent way to find out about events in your area and post your own events for others to see. Here’s how to use it!

When you log in to the website,
click on My Account.

Select Event Calendar from the menu, you’ll see a new window with new options.

Below the calendar on the main page, you may see a link that says You Have New Invitations! This means that someone in your area is hosting an event, and has invited you! Just click the link to see the event.

To Submit An Event Request Make sure that you have all of your event information handy before you sit down to enter the event. Just enter the information requested, and click “Continue.” When we receive the event, we will review it, and post it on the calendar. Please allow 1 week for review.

Member Event Settings
You can have the RHS website remind you of upcoming events! Just adjust the settings here to your personal preferences.

Calendar Advice
Read this section before posting! It’ll save you time and answer some common questions about the Online Event Calendar.

Event Search You can search for local events by country, city and state, or date: this is especially useful if you are travelling, and hope to connect with Hatters during your trip. Once you’ve found an event you are interested in, you can contact the host for more information, or RSVP on the website.

View Your Own Events Can’t remember what information you listed on your event? Want to see how it looks on the website? This is the spot to review your event once it’s been posted to the website.
